Sure, I’m a sucker for pretty things but what really inspires me is that magical feeling when my couples and their guests walk into a space that we’ve built from the ground up.
As simple as it sounds, I genuinely love creating memories and moments.
Whether it’s a holiday tablescape for my family get together or a city chic wedding for your nearest and dearest – details and décor are what excite me. My events industry experience over the past 6 years ranges from weddings and private dining to catering sales and venue management. Hospitality is my passion and weddings are my first true love, so starting this business was a natural next step in my career.
I jokingly describe myself as a “professional girly girl,” but at my core, that’s who I am. Never underestimate a woman carrying a glass rack with a French manicure and running through a kitchen in heels! I can quote a good rom-com and offer wedding planning advice in the same breath!
Before I dived into the catering and events industry, I wrote about my love of weddings! After studying Journalism at the University of Maryland, College Park, I was an editor for a top DC-area wedding blog and interned for a wedding magazine. Be on the lookout for my DIY favors, projects & more!
In the summer of 2019, I became a cat mami after adopting this cutie from the Maryland SPCA. Her name is Romy as in Romy and Michele's High School Reunion (one of my favorites!) and while she didn't invent post-it notes, she is pretty cute!
“Crabcakes and football, that’s what Maryland does!” Well, actually, I prefer crabs to cakes, and don’t follow sports... I do look great in purple though! I’m from Greenbelt, but now I call Baltimore (Fells Point) home. And whether it’s a summer day in Ocean City or a cozy snow day in Deep Creep, there’s no place like home, am I right?
you'll hear from me shortly.
